BUILDINGWRENCH PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

Resolute Facility Technologies LLC (“Resolute,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates BuildingWrench, BuildingWrench Pro, BuildingWrench.com, the BuildingWrench mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and deleted when you use the Service.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you use BuildingWrench, we may collect:

ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Information used to create and maintain an account, such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, and account settings.

USER CONTENT

Information you choose to submit, including maintenance questions, notes, asset information, equipment information, work-history information, photographs, images, and other content.

AI MAINTENANCE COACH INFORMATION

When you use AI Maintenance Coach, we process the prompts, conversation context, images you submit, relevant guide information, selected asset information when applicable, language preference, and related technical information needed to generate and safely deliver a response.

ASSET AND QR INFORMATION

Information associated with assets you create, which may include asset names, descriptions, locations entered by you, model and serial information, photographs, notes, maintenance history, and QR-code identifiers.

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION

We may receive information about subscription status, product entitlement, transaction status, and related identifiers needed to determine whether Pro features should be available.

For App Store purchases, Apple processes payment-card and billing information. BuildingWrench does not need to receive your full payment-card number from Apple to provide subscription access.

When Google Play subscriptions are enabled, Google handles payment information. We use a pseudonymous account binding, subscription product and status, expiry, and encrypted purchase tokens to verify access and retry verification. We do not receive your full payment-card number. Purchase tokens and security bindings are excluded from account exports; subscription status and dates are included. Account deletion removes our Google subscription records but does not cancel billing in Google Play. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play separately.

TECHNICAL AND USAGE INFORMATION

We may collect information such as application events, device or browser information, error information, usage activity, feature interactions, timestamps, security information, and diagnostic information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Service.

AI USAGE METRICS

We may maintain operational information about AI requests, such as token usage, estimated processing cost, request status, image count, service identifiers, usage allowance consumption, and related diagnostic information.

WEBSITE INFORMATION

When you visit BuildingWrench.com, standard web technologies and hosting or analytics services may collect technical and usage information such as browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring information, approximate network-derived location, and similar website analytics information.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We may use information to:

• create and maintain accounts;
• authenticate users;
• provide BuildingWrench features;
• provide and improve AI Maintenance Coach;
• display and maintain asset records and QR functionality;
• preserve user-requested maintenance histories;
• manage Free and Pro feature access;
• process and verify subscription entitlements;
• provide customer support;
• maintain security and prevent abuse;
• enforce usage limits;
• diagnose technical problems;
• understand how the Service is used;
• improve functionality, reliability, and safety;
• comply with legal obligations;
• protect our rights and the rights and safety of users and others; and
• communicate important service, security, account, or policy information.

3. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PROCESSING

Before using Steve, AI Maintenance Coach, you are asked for permission to share content with the following providers. Questions, conversation context, attached photos, and selected equipment details are sent to OpenAI through Lovable's AI gateway to generate responses. Steve replies in writing; answer text is no longer sent to ElevenLabs for audio generation. Microphone dictation requires Pro and uses your device or browser's speech recognition, which may process microphone audio on its provider's servers.

Your choice is stored for your signed-in account on this device. You can withdraw permission using AI privacy on Steve's screen. Withdrawing permission prevents new submissions to these AI features; it does not recall information already sent or cancel requests already in progress. You can use other BuildingWrench features without enabling Steve's AI.

AI requests may include user prompts, recent conversation context, images submitted for analysis, relevant BuildingWrench guide excerpts, selected asset information where applicable, safety instructions, and other information needed to provide the requested feature.

Users should not submit confidential personal information, trade secrets, regulated information, or other sensitive information unless necessary and authorized.

AI-generated responses may be retained in the user's BuildingWrench account or conversation history where the Service provides that functionality.

Operational logs may separately record technical information about AI requests for security, reliability, usage-limit, troubleshooting, and cost-monitoring purposes.

Where response reporting is available, submitting a report sends the response text you review, your selected reason, optional details, language and account identifier to BuildingWrench for content and safety review. Reports are not forwarded to the AI provider. You can redact the text before sending. Submitted reports are included in account data export and removed when the account is deleted.

4. HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION

We do not sell personal information for money.

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate BuildingWrench, including providers of:

• cloud hosting and database infrastructure;
• authentication;
• AI processing;
• analytics;
• application hosting;
• email and customer communications;
• subscription and payment infrastructure;
• security and diagnostics; and
• other infrastructure reasonably necessary to operate the Service.

These providers may process information on our behalf according to their applicable agreements and privacy obligations.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law.

5. APPLE AND APP STORE SERVICES

If you obtain BuildingWrench through Apple's App Store or purchase a subscription through Apple, Apple independently processes information associated with your Apple Account, purchase, billing, and App Store activity under Apple's own privacy practices.

We may receive subscription or transaction information necessary to provide purchased features and maintain entitlement status.

GOOGLE PLAY SUBSCRIPTIONS

If you obtain BuildingWrench through Google Play, Google processes your store account, payment and subscription activity under its own privacy practices. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Our server verifies purchases with Google and stores subscription status, product, expiry and verification dates, an account binding, and an encrypted purchase token to provide and maintain Pro access. Subscription notifications from Google help us update that status. Purchase tokens are not included in account exports.

Deleting your BuildingWrench account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play. Account deletion removes the associated purchase records from our active database; provider backups expire separately as described below.

6. AFFILIATE LINKS AND THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

BuildingWrench may contain links to retailers, manufacturers, documentation, or other third-party websites.

Some links may be affiliate links. If you follow an affiliate link, the third party or affiliate network may use cookies, identifiers, or other technologies to attribute a visit or qualifying purchase.

Third-party sites operate under their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy does not govern their independent data practices.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining user-requested records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and abuse, and enforcing agreements.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and why it is maintained.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate backup, security, and recordkeeping needs.

8. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION

To delete your account in BuildingWrench, sign in and open Account. You do not need Pro to delete your account or export its data. For a request without the app, see the account deletion instructions at /delete-account or email support@buildingwrench.com with the subject “BuildingWrench account deletion.” Do not send passwords or sign-in codes. Our monitored support inbox acknowledges deletion requests within 7 days and completes verified requests within 30 days of identity verification. Backup expiration is separate from removal of active account data.

When an account is deleted, personal information associated with that account will be deleted or de-identified except information we are required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, financial-recordkeeping, or similar legitimate purposes.

Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups until those backups are overwritten or expire through normal retention processes. Our managed database provider, Lovable Cloud, documents daily database backups retained for roughly 14 days. This describes database snapshots; it is not a guaranteed expiration period for every storage or diagnostic copy.

Deleting a BuildingWrench account does not necessarily cancel a subscription managed through Apple or another third-party billing provider.

9. DATA EXPORT AND ACCESS

Where provided by the Service, users may export certain information associated with their account.

Users may also contact us regarding access, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions at support@buildingwrench.com.

We may need to verify a requester's identity before fulfilling certain requests.

10. DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.

No internet-connected system, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own login credentials and devices.

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

BuildingWrench is intended for facility, maintenance, and related professional or educational use and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information, which may include rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain information, or to opt out of certain processing.

Applicable rights vary by jurisdiction and may be subject to exceptions.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against a user for exercising an applicable privacy right.

13. U.S. USERS AND STATE PRIVACY LAWS

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws.

BuildingWrench will respond to qualifying requests as required by laws applicable to Resolute Facility Technologies LLC.

If applicable law provides a right to appeal a decision concerning a privacy request, the user may submit an appeal to support@buildingwrench.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.

14. INTERNATIONAL USERS

BuildingWrench is operated from the United States.

If the Service is made available outside the United States, information may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Privacy protections and laws may differ between jurisdictions.

15. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

BuildingWrench.com and related web services may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies when reasonably necessary for authentication, preferences, security, analytics, and operation of the Service.

Third-party analytics or infrastructure providers may process technical information according to their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

Where applicable law requires consent for a particular technology, we will provide an appropriate consent mechanism.

16. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

We may send transactional or service-related messages regarding accounts, security, support requests, subscriptions, or material Service changes.

If BuildingWrench later sends optional marketing emails, users will be provided an appropriate method to unsubscribe from those communications as required by applicable law.

17. DO NOT TRACK

Because there is not a universally accepted technical standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the Service may not respond to all such signals.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid opt-out preference signal, we will handle such signals as required by that law.

18. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy as BuildingWrench, our providers, or applicable legal requirements change.

The updated policy will display a revised effective date.

If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
